CALL FOR PAPERS
McWOP 10: Evanston, IL
October 29-31, 2004
The call for papers is now closed.

PURPOSE: This workshop is intended to be an informal gathering of researchers work in any area of phonology/phonetics (including, but not limited to, formal analysis, computational phonology, psycholinguistics, language acquistion, aphasia, acoustic or articulatory phonetics). Students and faculty are both welcome to present; the forum is especially suitable for graduate students presenting work in progress.

FORMAT: Oral presentations will last approximately 20 minutes with 10 minutes for questions.
In addition, if there is sufficent interest, a poster session will be organized.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
Abstracts should meet the following format:

  • The text must be 200-400 words (excluding references, data tables, etc.).
  • Files must be in PDF or text format (see the SAMPA homepage for conventions on IPA characters). No Word, WordPerfect, or other document formats will be accepted.
  • At the top of the abstract, please put:
    • Abstract title
    • Your name
    • Your affiliation
    • Presentation preference (poster only, paper only, paper or poster)
  • Abstracts should be e-mailed to: mcwop@ling.northwestern.edu
    All abstracts must be submitted electronically.

DEADLINE: Abstracts must be received by Saturday, September 25th.
